My name is Amber Valdez. I am the owner of my small pet sitting business called Cape Fear Pet Sitter. I love animals and take pride in being able to provide excellent pet care. I care about animals immensely and it shows through my work. 

I quit my job in customer service last year to work with animals full time, although I have been professionally pet sitting for three years. I started with a couple of clients, but my business has grown to the point that I can support myself now! I still have plenty of room in my schedule for new pets and now my wonderful husband is here to lend a helping hand!

I have been a CNA, Phlebotomist, and trained Medical Assistant, Nail Tech. I learned a lot about caring for people which has transferred to my care for pets! I am certified in Pet CPR/First Aid. I have also taken courses at Cape Fear Community College for basic pet grooming where I also received my Associate's degree. I am always continuing my education with hopes to work on a Bachelor's degree in Business. 

A typical package for doing a dog or cat drop-in/walk visit includes 30 minutes of walking or playing in the yard(fenced in), LOTS of love, feeding, disposal of waste, pictures & updates sent to you, and more love. Need your mail/packages brought in, trash taken out, pet medications given, alternating lights (to deter break-ins)? Just let me know! 

I know there are a lot of hobby pet sitters but what I bring is excellent animal care, responsibility, respect of clients' homes, honesty, and most importantly is being incredibly trustworthy. I like to make it look as if I've never been at people's homes!
